public violence... government idiocy leads to civilian vigilantism. the violence in judea and samaria is not a solution to the real problem.

it is, however, a significant symbol of what is wrong with government responses to the \"palestinian\" threat and how the general public feels about it.

since 1982, israelis have waited as government after government has failed to formally absorb gaza, judea and samaria into israel, instead leaving a terror state free to attack at will.

that delay has cost thousands of jews and arabs their lives. on october 7, more than a thousand were killed in a single day at the hands of the terror army calling itself \"palestinians\".

yet, even ten months later, both the netanyahu government and the idf have completely failed to even unify the nation, nevermind preemptively attacking its enemies.

it\'s unsurprising that, after more than forty years of waiting, civilians are taking the law into their own hands.

that violence is bad, not because it\'s the wrong target but because it\'s the wrong method.

it is the job of the government and military to annex all israeli territory and ensure peace and safety, not individual civilians.

israel is not a lawless state ruled by militias and vigilantes. while the violence is understandable, it is not excusable.

the government must destroy the \"palestinian\" threat and unify israel before more violence erupts and more attacks succeed against the people of israel.
